Rent Smart was opened in 2007 by Pat and Lori Gardner, longtime Grant residents. It is truly a family business, involving their 4 children, with strong ties to the community. Both Pat and Lori have been in the rental industry since 1995, and bring their experience and passion to Rent Smart.

Their focus is customer satisfaction, safety, and reliability. You can rent with confidence, knowing that the equipment you rent is clean and in top working condition. Equipment does not leave the building until you have been given instructions on its safe and correct operation. This helps avoid downtime and accidents, making a Rent Smart rental cost effective.

July 2018 Rent Smart expanded to include a new location in Sparta, MI. Our Sparta location is currently located at 81 N State St. We will be moving to a new bigger location during the summer of 2021.
