VFW Camp Trotter is a nonprofit co-ed residential summer camp for kids ages 7–12 on Bills Lake in Newaygo, owned & operated by the Michigan Veterans of Foreign Wars since 1949.

Garrett Sieloff

I’m Garrett Sieloff, Camp Director at VFW Camp Trotter — a U.S. Coast Guard veteran, husband, and father of two with an M.S. in Community Sustainability. My Coast Guard operations experience (search & rescue, multiagency response, logistics) informs risk management and safety in licensed camp operations. An Eagle Scout, I’ve worked in residential and day camps and am committed to preserving Camp Trotter’s legacy while keeping it accessible, affordable, and excellent.
