SUMMARY:2014 4th of July Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Parade - Sponsored by the Croton American Legion.  Line up begins at 11am on Wealthy (directly across from Croton Bay Trading Post) and steps off at noon.  It will finish at the American Legion where there will be children activities\, food and a Beer Tent.  You must register in advance to be in the parade.  Contact the American Legion (652-7776) for details.\n\n\n\n\n\nBoat Parade - Brought back after many years.  Sponsored by the River Country Camber of Commerce.  We are planning to line up on the Little River starting at 6:30  and then beginning at 7pm by going around that side then under the causeway and finishing up past the campground.  Just in time for the fireworks. Decorate your boat if you would like but please be family friendly. \n\n\n\n\n\nFireworks - Commencing at Dusk.  This year they are in honor of  George Jingles who began this event many years ago and passed away this past year.  His passion was for the community and to give back.\n\n\n\nFor the second year they will be shot off the island on the Big Muskegon starting at dusk.  Claim your spot on the causeway or river early.   Look for donation jugs at local businesses to help support this spectacular show.
