DESCRIPTION:The River Country Chamber of Commerce of Newaygo County together with the Newaygo Police Department is hosting a presentation that will teach business owners\, employees and residents how to survive an active shooter incident.\n\nThe Civilian Response to Active Shooter (C.R.A.S.H.) seminar will be held from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Thursday\, May 5th at The Stream and will be presented by Sgt. L. Walerczk of the Newaygo Police Department.\n\n\n\nThe 90 minute course is open to the public. It provides citizens with strategies\, guidance and plans for surviving an active shooter event.
