DESCRIPTION:For a complete list of Logging Festival events - visit our website by clicking here\n\n\nThe River Country Chamber of Commerce of Newaygo County is excited to announce the return of the Elder's Mid-Michigan Lumberjack Competition a part of the 2019 Logging Festival in Downtown Newaygo as well as the return of the Elder's Mid-Michigan Amateur Competition! \n\n\n\nThe Amateur Competition will be held on Saturday\, August 31st from 10 am - 12:00 pm and is for anyone 18 years or older with a signed competition waiver form (available at event site) and isn't a regular competitor\, your own equipment is not required\, the Two Man Cross Cut does require a partner. Competition categories are subject to at least two competitors competing\; all registered competitors will be entered in a drawing for either a hatchet\, a short handled axe or a longhandled axe - Donated by Cronk's Ace Hardware & Lumber Center. Each category winner will receive a Elder's Mid-Michigan Amateur Trophy. Sign up and see if you have what it takes to be the Elder's Mid-Michigan Amateur Competition winner!
