DESCRIPTION:Tourism is the future of our County!\n\n\n\nWith that in mind\, you are invited to attend the 1st Annual one day Newaygo County Tourism & Travel Summit to be held on Thursday\, October 29th from 8:30 am   2:30 pm at The Shack (2263 W. 14th St. White Cloud).  The Tourism and Travel Summit is co-sponsored by the Newaygo County Convention & Visitors Bureau\, the Fremont Area Community Foundation\, the Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce and the River Country Chamber of Commerce of Newaygo County. \n\n \n\nWe are looking forward to a diverse set of participants representing travel\, tourism\, hospitality businesses\, retail\, recreation\, government and academics from Newaygo County.  Among the speakers will be Director of Travel Marketing and Brand\, Kelly Wolgamott from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation.\n\n \n\nDuring the summit you will be challenged to discuss some of the following topics:\n\n	Newaygo County Tourism: opportunities and challenges for Newaygo County.\n	Stakeholders of Newaygo County: their role and contribution.\n	Newaygo's preparation to be a favorite Michigan tourism destination: where are we? What can we do?\n\nIf you have questions regarding this event please don't hesitate to to contact Colleen Buckley at cbuckley@ncedo.org.\n\n\n\nReservations are needed no later than October 27th\, 2015.  Please include any dietary restrictions in the comments when registering on line (lunch provided by The Shack).
