DESCRIPTION:Camp Newaygo offers co-ed Day Camp options for girls AND boys in kindergarten through fifth grade\, for fun and adventure including archery\, canoeing\, and swimming.  Since 1926\, generations of girls aged 7 - 17 have cherished Camp Newaygo and come to spend their summers surrounded by woods and water at their girl's summer resident camps. It's more than a tradition or even a heritage\; it's a legacy\, and it continues to leave its mark on current and future generations.\n\nFor kids who have never attended camp though\, the prospect can be a little daunting\; not only for them but for their parents as well. To help alleviate that\, Camp Newaygo is offering a free Open House on Sunday\, April 27 from noon till 4:00 PM. This is a great opportunity to tour the facilities\, get information on day and resident camps\, and meet the staff at Camp Newaygo. It's a chance to "test drive" Camp and see what they're all about.\n\nThe Open House is at Camp Newaygo\, located at 5333 Centerline Rd.\, Newaygo.
