DESCRIPTION:"Santa's Story Book" is a unique event that promotes early literacy by demonstrating the importance of books\, reading and parent/child bonding.  This program allows children and parents to experience the fun of reading though story time\, games\, and craft activities.  To reinforce the importance of reading\, each child has their picture taken and receives a brand new age appropriate book too.  Games and craft activities are provided by participating agencies and are thoughtfully planned to correspond with reading\, the alphabet or a particular children's book.  This program is free and open to the public.
