It encouraged people across the country to support small\, local businesses.\n\n\n\nIn 2011 THE DAY BECAME OFFICIAL - From Washington D.C. to Washington State\, governors\, mayors\, senators\, and even President Obama\, all voiced their support for Small Business Saturday.\n\n\n\nIn 2013 NEIGHBORHOODS CELEBRATED THE DAY - The River Country Chamber joined the celebration for small businesses throughout River Country!\n\n\n\nThe day continued to grow\, with more individuals and local organizations pledging to support the day as Neighborhood Champions.\n\n\n\n2014 ONE FOR THE BOOKS - Shoppers supported their neighborhood businesses like never before\, continuing to embrace the day as a holiday shopping tradition.\n\n\n\nWatch for the 2015 Christmas in River Country Coupon Book coming soon! There will be many opportunities to shop local being posted to our Face Book page and Chamber Website.
