SUMMARY:Spirit of Giving Decorate & Donate Contest
DESCRIPTION:The River Country Chamber of Commerce of Newaygo County is pleased to announce that the 2nd Annual Spirit of Giving Decorate & Donate Contest will start on November 29 and run thru midnight on December 31st. \n\n\n\nThe business with the most money raised will be announced January 9.  This year 50% of proceeds will go to the benefit of the Newaygo County Commission on Aging Senior Meals Program. \n\n\n\nLast year's winner was Croton Bay Trading Post with $178.25 raised and Lighthouse Group Insurance & Title at $150.00 raised for a close 2nd.  Donations of $283.96 were donated to the True North Senior Meals Program. \n\n\n\nThank you to all the area businesses that participated!\n\n\n\nIf you didn't participate last year and are wondering what to do for this year's contest its easy!  Decorate your office\, store\, window\, yard\, roof or just one room and take some pictures.  Submit your event online through the Chamber website\, invite your friends\, family and patrons to vote for your decorations by sharing your submission through email\, text\, social media.  Voting can be done on line (credit & debit cards are accepted) or by dropping change in your jar.  The business with the most donations received will be announced as this year's winner and will be encouraged to join us as we make our check presentation mid-January.
