DESCRIPTION:Drawing Reading and Writing Triangle\,  is a FREE program created and taught by local Children's Book Illustrator/Author Lori McElrath Eslick. for children\, Grades 3-5. \n\nThis program was developed and taught in a traditional "in-class" setting\, and Newaygo Library is excited to offer it in the Library. \n\nThis is a 5 Session Program\, with the class meeting at Newaygo Library on Thursdays: 10/21\, 10/28\, 11/4\, 11/11\, and 11/18. \n\nWe have space for up to 10 children\, Grades 3 - 5. \n\nThe program goals include: \n\n\n	 Drawing a story's "cover art" (simulation) to enhance fine arts education\, and to know the steps an illustrator goes through to create a cover art painting that tells a story on the book\\'s cover.\n	Encouraging students to appreciate ownership of their creativity in drawing and writing.\n	Learning the process of creating a story from development of ideas in an outline\, re-writing to completion including binding finished project if available.\n	A watercolor painting.\n\nRSVP here:  WaterColor Grades 3-5 or call the Library at 231-652-6723\n\nThis program is funded in part by the Michigan Council for Arts & Cultural Affairs.
