DESCRIPTION:Dam Good WinterFest is hosted by the River Country Chamber of Commerce and is a combination of the Newaygo Area Chamber of Commerce WinterFest traditionally held the last weekend in January\, Croton Township's Dam to Dam traditionally held in February and the White Cloud's Winter Carnival traditionally held in February. The integration of these events to create 10 days of Dam Good WinterFest will create opportunities for our membership to showcase their businesses and allows more activities for travelers and locals alike. \n\n\n\nListed below are Chamber hosted or sponsored events\, for a list additional Member events - CLICK HERE\n\n\n\nSaturday Feb 8 \n\n\n\nPolar Power Softball Tournament Sponsored by Magna Mirror\; back for it's 2nd year - Saturday February 8 - Registration is now open - First game starts at 8:00 am on Croton Pond behind the Driftwood Bar & Grill\n\n\n\nPolar Chili Challenge Sponsored by Jimmy's Roadhouse for the 2nd year in a row!!!  Thank you Jimmy's.  Share your Chili but not your recipe and win!!!  Team Check in at 9:00 am\; Judging & Peoples Choice at 1:30 pm\n\n \nPolar Dip hosted by the United Way of Newaygo County \n\nRegistration begins 10:30\n\nDipping and obstacle course from 11:00-1:00\n\nHess Lake\, next to Smuggler's Cove\n\n \n\nAll brave dippers get a T-shirt.  Individual dippers and teams are welcome.
