    Camp Henry is seeking 4 to 5 fun-loving, hard-working, service-oriented folks, preferably with previous camp staff experience, to join our camping ministry and serve as Program Specialists. These positions will begin near the end of August and run through November 1st, with the possibility of extension. Program Specialists will provide leadership in one of our key program areas, including: Aquatics, Environmental & Outdoor Education, High Adventure, and Team Building. Camp Henry is a fun, positive, challenging, and exciting place to work, learn, and serve! Our spring and fall seasons are full of serving school groups, sports teams, youth groups, and retreat guests. If you're passionate about changing lives while living and serving in a Christian community, Camp Henry is the place for you! Program Specialists are paid $350 per week, provided with on-site shared housing and meals when provided to campers and guests.     Job Description: 

    ? Lead hands-on programs, games, and team building with a diverse range of visiting groups and campers ? Provide outstanding guest services for teachers and visiting group partners 

    ? Maintain a positive, solutions-oriented attitude 

    ? Assist with program supply, inventory, and upkeep, and maintenance 

    ? Other duties as assigned, which support Camp Henry’s mission and team, including serving alongside other department staff and facilitating activities, and in camp’s key program areas including Aquatics, Environmental & Outdoor Education, High Adventure, Team Building, Aquatics, and Horses 

    Qualifications: 

    ? Pass a criminal background check 

    ? All applicants must possess a valid driver’s license 

    ? A college degree (or comparable experience) and outdoor teaching experience is desired 

    Position Requirements Include: 

    ? Ability to work both independently and as part of a team 

    ? Experience working with children and adapting programs to various ages and developmental stage ? Capable of working long hours outdoors in typical and inclement weather 

    ? Customer service-oriented, including the ability to continuously convey positivity and politeness ? Ability to practice sound decision making, problem solving, and effective communication ? Open to feedback and willing to be coached 

    ? Strong interpersonal skills 

    ? CPR/First Aid certification or ability to acquire 

    ? Lifeguard certification (not required, though, preferred or ability to acquire for Aquatics roles) ? Chauffeur's license (not required)
