"Peace Maker",
the original moose antler carving by local artist Gene Ried,
member of the Mohawk Tribe and Purple Heart Viet Nam Veteran recipient,
will be raffled at the Native American Gathering 2018.
The raffle will take place on Sunday, September 23 at 3:45 pm in Brooks Park, Newaygo.
The work of art is valued at $1,100. Winner need not be present.
"Peace Maker" can be viewed at the Newaygo County Museum and Heritage Center.
Tickets are $10 each or 3 for $25.
Tickets can be purchased at the Native American Gathering in Brooks Park on
Saturday, September 22 from 11am - 7pm; or on Sunday, September 23 from 11am - 3:30pm.
