There's a chill in the air and a twinkle in every eye.  That means the Christmas season is here!  When November 23rd arrives, carriage rides, carolers, roasted chestnuts, and light displays are all unwrapped, and families look forward to celebrating the spirit of the season with friends and neighbors at some of Newaygo Counties best Christmas festivals.  These festivals celebrate what is loveliest about the season - community, tradition, generosity, and so much joy!  Carolers singing your favorite Christmas songs to street vendors to delight kids of all ages, the best Christmas festivals will fill your eyes with dazzling lights, your imagination with wonder, your stomach with delicious food, and your spirit with the joy of the season. The Colors of Christmas
The Colors of Christmas is a drive-thru wonderland full of lights and Christmas displays scattered throughout the Croton Township Campground.  It will be open for you and your family to drive through or hike through begining November 23rd.  for more information  

Season of Hope Charity Auction
An elegant evening of great food, fun and fund-raising, this years charity of choice Newaygo County Prevention of Child Abuse & Neglect. This event requires tickets in advance and always sells out so don't wait to get your ticket!  for more information

Christmas Walk in Downtown Newaygo
This unique hometown experience is like no other with twinkling lights, horse drawn wagon rides, the smell of fresh roasted chestnuts and the sounds of Christmas Carols make this an experience you will not want to miss.  Area merchants have special sales and goodies for you while you are checking out the unique downtown stores.  for more information

ChoiceOne Bank Nick Kick
Ho! Ho! Ho! Ready to GO!  The eighth annual ChoiceOne Bank St. Nick Kick is a family-friendly, 5k and 10k run as well as a 1 mile walk for all ages.  The River Country Chamber hosts this annual race for the benefit of the Newaygo Schools Cross Country Teams giving us special favor with Santa for being such a great supporter of the community! for more information

Candy Cane Lane in Downton White Cloud
The unique, small town of White Cloud plays host to Santa for a fun filled day of family focused activities.  Join the area businesses as they host the annual Kids' carnival, Santa's Workshop and so much more. Christmas in Croton-Hardy
Croton Township Campground is home to Newaygo Counties only "Colors of Christmas" light display and for one night only you can spend the evening enjoying this unique, outdoor experience up close with a stroll or a carriage ride through the many Christmas scenes on display, a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus or by hanging out by the bonfire singing Christmas Carols, sipping hot chocolate and eating Christmas Cookies. for more information
