Who then, is behind the Right Place? For thirty years of exponential growth, that person is Birgit Klohs, President & CEO, named one of Crain's Detroit Business 100 Most Influential Women in 2016. Ms. Klohs is a frequent speaker at national and international Economic Development conferences and seminars. She has lectured in France, Great Britain, Germany, Sweden, China, Australia and Israel. She is also involved in numerous local and state-wide activities and is River Country Chambers Keynote Speaker this year.
What does Ms. Klohs see ahead for River Country in the context of a roaring West Michigan economy? What insight can her experience give us that might lead to better decisions for our Chamber and our businesses? Time to find out in person, because she is coming to meet you!
The River Country Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner Meeting is more than a time for us to reflect on the past year and prepare for great things in our shared community for 2017. This is an opportunity to meet world class thought leaders, and to network with business owners and influencers from areas outside our daily routines. In 2017 year, we are setting a higher mark than in any previous year - please join your colleagues for a night to remember.
Business Networking begins at 5:30 pm; Premier Partners please join us for a Pre-Mixer event sponsored by Independent Bank from 5:00 - 5:30 pm. Opening remarks will begin at 6:00 pm and will include the announcement of the first ever River Country Chamber Member Awards recipients (click here to cast your vote - prior to April 1st).
