The October movie showing is "Hocus Pocus", and will immediately follow our Halloween Party in the Park. This collaborative event was planned by volunteers of Detail Painting, Inc, Grant Area District Library, City of Grant, and many Grant businesses (listed below.)
Free Admission and popcorn provided by our generous Sponsor: ChoiceOne Bank-Grant Branch. Thank You!
Free Pumpkin Carving Contest: Old Iron Bar & Grill. Pumpkins provided by Nelson's Farm Market. Prizes provided by LLC Custom Engraving of Grant. Pumpkins should be picked up at Old Iron Bar & Grill on or after October 27th at 3:00pm. Register your name and age, and get your registration number. Please have your carved pumpkin, along with your number, to Blanche Lake Park prior to 6pm judging.
One prize will be awarded to each category: Ages 3-5, Ages 6-9, Ages 10-12, and Ages 13+.
Free Trunk-Or-Treat: City of Grant DPW, Grant Police Department, Ashland-Grant Fire Dist., & our Local Businesses.
Free Kids Games: Grant Area District Library, Detail Painting, Inc, and City of Grant DPW
One Free Hot Dog per person: Detail Painting, Inc.
Warming Fire (inside ball field): City of Grant DPW
Thank You to our volunteers and to Grant Public Schools for allowing guests to park behind the Fine Arts Center!
Please bring your lawn blankets or chairs and warm clothing.
Please DO NOT leave children unattended.
*Parking WILL BE available in the cul-de-sac next to the ball field once the barricade next to the pavilion is moved at the end of the Trunk-Or-Treat portion of the event. Plenty of parking available along Park Dr, and additional parking is available behind the Grant Fine Arts Center/Grant High School. There is a lighted path leading down to the ball field.
