SEASONS GREETINGS!
Greetings On behalf of the Season of Hope Charity Auction,
These are unusual times, unprecedented even – we certainly have heard those words enough since the Coronavirus started to impact our daily lives. Many of you are watching how this pandemic unfolds, wondering what you can do. We have regrettably cancelled our Season of Hope Charity Auction for 2020 but in true committee fashion we want to encourage giving back.
This year, as local business owners and community leaders, we are writing to ask for your support on behalf of the Seasons of Hope Charity Auction by virtual giving to local 501C3 nonprofits. Your donation will help ensure that our local nonprofits are able to still reach our community, provide more resources and better help during these unstable times.
Not only is December a holiday season where we like to give back through our annual charity auction, but it also marks a special event for 501c3 nonprofits, Giving Tuesday. Giving Tuesday, on December 1st, is a day dedicated to giving to offset Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Families, businesses, community centers, and more will all come together to celebrate and encourage more, better, and smarter giving.
