West Michigan’s own Village Puppeteers will present “Lost in Storyland” on Saturday, July 10 at 3:00 p.m. in the Dogwood’s Black Box.
“Lost in Storyland” is a raucous comic romp, with the internationally acclaimed puppeteers of Village Puppeteers riff on classic fairy tale characters. Packed with silly antics and featuring a cavalcade of colorful puppets, Puss 'n Boots, The Three Little Pigs, Humpty Dumpty, Little Miss Muffet and Rumpelstiltskin are joined by a host of others, including a handsome prince, a maiden in distress and a dazzling dragon. This is an audience-tested crowd pleaser perfect for school aged children, with plenty of humor for adults.
Village Puppeteers Larry Basgall and Mike Schwabe, who have been puppeteers for more than 20 years. They have worked as artistic and producing directors for Hystopolis Productions of Chicago, building many popular productions for children and adults alike.
