Tourism is the future of our County!

With that in mind, you are invited to attend the 1^st Annual one day Newaygo County Tourism & Travel Summit to be held on Thursday, October 29^th from 8:30 am – 2:30 pm at The Shack (2263 W. 14^th St. White Cloud).  The Tourism and Travel Summit is co-sponsored by the Newaygo County Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Fremont Area Community Foundation, the Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce and the River Country Chamber of Commerce of Newaygo County. 
 
We are looking forward to a diverse set of participants representing travel, tourism, hospitality businesses, retail, recreation, government and academics from Newaygo County.  Among the speakers will be Director of Travel Marketing and Brand, Kelly Wolgamott from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation.
 
During the summit you will be challenged to discuss some of the following topics:

• Newaygo County Tourism: opportunities and challenges for Newaygo County.
• Stakeholders of Newaygo County: their role and contribution.
• Newaygo’s preparation to be a favorite Michigan tourism destination: where are we? What can we do?
